Responsibilities Position Summary: Contributes to the company's strategic objectives by continuously designing, updating, and expanding the assigned products and services sales training programs to proactively prepare the sales representatives, agents of the organization, and internal personnel to succeed in an ever-changing healthcare environment. Applies fundamental sales knowledge coupled with effective training technique to design and execute training programs that will result in more effective and efficient customer facing employees. The trainer will work collaboratively with internal sales management, clinical, marketing, legal and regulatory personnel, and applicable external marketing partners, consultants and training vendors, to design meaningful learning solutions for B. Braun Medical's customer facing teams. Responsibilities: Essential Duties Develops, delivers and updates sales and product training curriculum for field sales and clinical teams. - Designs, updates and expands sales training programs. Proactively prepares the field force and internal personnel to succeed in an ever changing environment. Ensures the field force possesses an expert knowledge of the products or services being sold. Assesses training needs of the sales & clinical-field staff, and subsequently develop and implement training programs that suit such needs. Assesses and reports on training methods, implementing changes when necessary. Keeps informed of new training methods and sales skills to ensure training is current and effective for assigned audience. The job function listed is not exhaustive and shall also include any responsibilities as assigned by the Supervisor from time to time. Expertise: Knowledge & Skills Requires full working knowledge of relevant business practices and procedures in professional field. Uses standard theories, principles and concepts and integrates them to propose a course of action. Works under general supervision. Relies on experience and judgement to plan and accomplish assigned goals. May periodically assist in orienting, training, and/or reviewing the work of other peers. Judgement is required in resolving all day-to-day problems. Contacts are primarily with department supervisors, leads, subordinates, and peers. Occasional contact with external contractors/vendors. Qualifications Expertise: Qualifications -Education/Experience/Training/Etc Required: Bachelor's degree required 06-08 years related experience required Regular and predictable attendance Occasional business travel required (Remote the travel would by 50 - 75%. Office based the travel would be 25%) Preferred: Graduate level or higher degree Medical device training experience Sales experience in healthcare While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit and talk or hear. The employee frequently is required to use hands to handle or feel and reach with hands and arms. The employee is occasionally required to stand and walk.
