Assists in maintaining data integrity in analytics and source systems. Assists in development, implementation, and improvement of departmental and organizational processes and systems. Participates in committees and project teams as appropriate. JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: * Provides quality customer service to users throughout St. Luke's Health Network by creating accurate and timely reports from a variety of data sources using report writers and other software as required. Prioritizes and manages multiple requests and projects concurrently. * Assists in development, implementation, and improvement of departmental and organizational processes and systems under guidance of Manager, Clinical Analytics and/or Sr. Analyst. * Provides training and ongoing support to users of analytics systems throughout the network. * Serves as point of contact for ongoing data submissions to external agencies. * Maintains working knowledge of the hospital's analytics systems as well as source systems as appropriate. * Assists in maintaining data integrity in analytics and source systems. * Maintains adequate and accessible documentation of processes and reports. * Participates in committees and project teams as appropriate, in conjunction with Manager, Clinical Analytics and/or Sr. Analyst. * Functions as integral part of Clinical Analytics team, providing data and other support to team members and assisting in development/improvement of departmental processes. * Provides regular status reports to Manager, Clinical Analytics. PHYSICAL AND SENSORY REQUIREMENTS: Sitting for up to 7 hours per day, 4 hours at a time; standing for up to 7 hours per day, 4 hours at a time; walking for up to 2 hours a day, 1 hour at a time. Requires crouching, kneeling, and lifting of objects weighing up to 60 pounds, pushing objects weighing up to 80 pounds. Requires hand and finger dexterity to perform repairs of small equipment and to use computer equipment. Seeing as it relates to general, near, color and peripheral vision. Hearing as it relates to normal and telephone conversations. EDUCATION: Associate or Bachelors Degree required. TRAINING AND EXPERIENCE: Previous report writing and data analysis experience, 2 to 5 years. Knowledge of MS Office, database applications, and report writers (SQL-based, Crystal Reports, or similar) preferred. Healthcare experience a plus. On-the-job training provided.
