Maintenance Instrumentation and Controls Supervisor - 3rd shiftThe--Maintenance Instrumentation and Controls Supervisor--willprovide leadership and be responsible for technical support in electrical,instrumentation, and controls systems to all operations and areas of the plantby leading troubleshooting; identifying, developing, coordinating, andimplementing training programs.-- Responsiblefor maintaining equipment in all production areas to keep it operating in asafe, efficient, and reliable manner while assuring compliance with applicablecodes, safety regulations and standards.--Ensure the safety, health, and wellbeing of all associates in support ofthe Company s people first culture.Key Responsibilities of this position are:-- Supervise maintenanceassociates, as assigned, and maintain smooth efficient operations of designatedarea for safe production of quality products in accordance with Companystandards while consistently evaluating and optimizing schedules.-- Analyze downtime data and prioritize plantmaintenance opportunities.Leadinstrumentation and controls troubleshooting activities in all areas of theplant.Identifytraining needs of individual maintenance associates as well as of the overallmaintenance group.-- Develop, coordinate,and implement training programs to meet the electrical, instrumentation, andcontrols needs of the maintenance organization. This includes supporting Safetywith Identifying LOTO needs as well as Arc flash needs of maintenanceassociates.Ensurecompliance of plant systems with applicable codes, safety regulations andstandards.-- Develop and implement plansto address areas for improvement.Identify, plan,schedule, and execute preventive maintenance tasks to improve the safety,performance, and reliability of plant equipment and controls systems.Research,evaluate, and recommend new technologies and equipment to improve mechanical,electrical, and controls related to the plant.--Act as maintenance liaison with Engineering Department.-- Review, modify and approve new productionprocesses and changes to existing production equipment initiated by theEngineering Department.-- Communicatepriorities and plans to maintenance organization.Identify,coordinate, and supervise outside contractors to meet electrical, instrumentationand controls need.-- Ensure that outsidecontractors comply with safety and GMP requirements.Provide inputfor performing annual plant/production shutdown maintenance by communicatingwith other Maintenance Supervisors and Manager, Facilities Manager, as well asOperations Supervisors.Performduties of Maintenance Supervisor on weekend rotation and as needed for vacationcoverage.Minimum Qualifications for this position are:Formal trainingafter high school (vocational, business, or technical school), or an associate sdegree.At least fiveyears in the following areas: Electrical Controls, Hydraulics, Pneumatics,Process Systems, Instrumentation, PLC programming and troubleshooting.Must have athorough knowledge of instrumentation and process controls systems.Location: Bethlehem, PA--
