Job Description:

Our client is currently seeking a Production Supervisor in the Bethlehem, Pennsylvania area for a major industrial manufacturing company to work on 2nd shift.Responsibilities:Supervise and manage all aspects of the designated functional area, including processes, equipment, employees, safety, and housekeeping.Lead personnel and oversee operations during designated shifts or areas, ensuring effective utilization of resources and equipment.Coordinate daily work assignments and schedules to optimize productivity and efficiency.Troubleshoot and resolve production problems, minimizing delays and ensuring safe equipment operation.Oversee maintenance of shop equipment in the designated functional area, reducing downtime and ensuring safe functionality.Perform quality inspections of completed work to ensure accurate fabrication and tagging of materials for shipping.Assist in the evaluation of employees, recommending compensation adjustments based on merit.Execute various tasks, such as equipment operation, to maintain efficient shift operations.Fulfill additional duties as assigned by the Operations Manager.Requirements:Possession of an OSHA 10 certificate.A minimum of 4 years' experience in a manufacturing setting, or equivalent.2 years of Leadership experience in a manufacturing setting or equivalent.Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot production issues efficiently.Effective communication skills and the ability to work well within a team.Flexibility to work extended hours during peak production periods.Preferred Qualifications:Working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications.Possession of an OSHA 30 certificate.Proven skills in communication, supervision, planning, and human relations.Basic understanding of business operations, labor relations, and industrial regulations.
