We are looking for a Field Service individual to join our growing team. Our Field Service employees are expected to travel domestically and internationally up to 50% of the time. We are seeking candidates who present a professional demeanor and represent our company well by providing excellent service, attention to detail, and exceeding our customer expectations. Prior mechanical and electrical experience is necessary and PLC/industrial automation software experience is desirable.

Are you a match?

• Preferred 2-year technical degree or equivalent technical military training or demonstrated job related knowledge.
• Minimum of 2 years of field service experience in mechanical, machinery, or electrical repair service and/or installation field.
• Working knowledge of industrial control systems and PLCs.
• Strong analytical and trouble shooting skills with ability to problem solve effectively.
• Ability to coordinate and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Effective oral and written communication skills and ability to make good judgement decisions.
• Ability to maintain good attendance.
• Preferred experience or familiarity with RS Logix or other PLC software
• Basic to intermediate proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, etc.)
  What your day would be like:
  
  • Perform pre-shipment furnace commissioning.
  • Perform field furnace commissioning, supervision of installations and customer training.
  • Troubleshoot, problem solve and offer technical support for equipment and system issues both at customer sites and via telephone or web services.
  • Handle warranty repairs, preventive maintenance tasks, pyrometry and vacuum leak detection services, plus hot zone installations and repairs.
  • Be willing to travel up to 50% including some international travel. Due to the nature of our business and customer emergencies, ability to be flexible as needed to travel on short notice and work off-hours.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
