Maintain daily records of services performed on equipment as per Engineering preventive maintenance and repair procedures to provide continuous uninterrupted patient care and keep the physical facilities in good running condition.
JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Performs scheduled preventive maintenance on electrical/mechanical equipment in accordance with hospital protocol and professional standards to maintain patient related equipment and emergency services.
• Completes all necessary repairs and/or replacements in duly constituted time based on standards established for the job to be performed properly.
• Records and maintains daily record of accomplishments in EMS to ensure proper procedures are fulfilled and properly recorded.
• Performs emergency electrical and mechanical repairs as directed by the Manager or as outlined on work order slips.
• Provides necessary information to initiate requisitions if additional work is needed to complete scheduled work.PHYSICAL AND SENSORY REQUIREMENTS:
  Requires standing for up to eight (8) hours per day and walking for up to four (4) hours per day, sitting for extended periods of up to two hours, lifting loads of up to 60 lbs., pushing loads of up to 300 lbs., bending, crouching, reaching, twisting, climbing (stairs and ladder), and manual dexterity to make equipment repairs. Seeing as it relates to normal vision, and hearing as it relates to normal hearing.
  EDUCATION:
  Must have a high school diploma or equivalent certificate (G.E.D.)
  TRAINING AND EXPERIENCE:
  Preferred minimum of two (2) year's experience through on the job training in operating high-pressure boilers, and two (2) year's experience in electrical trade.
