Join a company that has been family-owned since 1942 and can offer you more flexibility and job stability.In this position you can expect to:Support the Krapf Bus Companies vision and mission in all activitiesDemonstrate the Krapf Core Values of commitment, open communication, respect and excellent serviceRepresent the Krapf Bus Companies and conduct all activities in a professional, business-like mannerComply with all Company employee policies and safety policiesSUMMARY:In a field environment, provide basic and preventive maintenance for school vehicles and company operated vehicles on a scheduled basis in accordance with the company's Maintenance Excellence Program.ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:Comply with company safe work practices and procedures to reduce hazard exposurePerform timely preventive maintenance of vehicles in compliance with company requirements and division schedules within the framework of Krapf School Bus Maintenance PolicyAssist with state inspectionsAssist or perform oil changes and lubricate chassisCheck and replenish vehicle fluids including oil, water, power steering, transmission, differential and washer fluidsInspect tires, belts and hoses and correct problems as neededInspect and service brake systems with supervisionAdjust, replace and/or repair lighting components, and replace and repair accessories such as heaters, mirrors, and windshield wipersInspect all occupant safety systems such as seatbelts, wheelchair locks, wheelchair lifts, etc. and make adjustments as neededComplete daily paperwork as required by assignmentsAssist with snow and ice removal as neededPerform other tasks as assigned by the Lead TechnicianQUALIFICATIONS:The requirements listed below are representative of the abilities needed to perform the essential function of this position in a field environment.
