Essential Duties and Responsibilities --- 'A smile our customers can hear over the phone' - A pleasant, professional telephone presence with a clear voice, tone and demeanor is a must--- Prepare invoices, delivery tickets, and related shipping documents--- Experienced accurate data entry and document handling - Categorizing, filing, and maintaining ship ticket copies for audit purposes and file all customer records--- Coordinate deliveries with trucks and customers to ensure delivery time accuracy--- Plan and schedule effective delivery routes and work with trucks to cover loads efficiently--- Other duties and responsibilities related to the nature of the job may be assigned on a temporary or permanent basis as neededQualifications To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Requirements/Education/Experience --- Must be able to multi-task with high attention to detail--- Skilled in MS Office Package with intermediate skill in Excel, Word, Outlook, accurate data entry and standard office equipment operations. 10-key experience a plus--- HS diploma or GED or equivalent in related experience required. Intermediate math skills able to calculate pricing, calculate product by volume, weights or measures equations, and calculate percentiles accurately Experience with Lawson is preferred Physical Environment --- May require occasional lifting up to 50 lbs.--- Endure intermittent climbing, bending, stooping, twisting, reaching, pushing and pulling--- Sitting for extended periods of time
