Accountabilities: Conduct and coordinate clinical assessment, triage and risk management response and tracking Greet and assist students and other constituents; make initial assessment of need; address questions and refer constituents to appropriate personnel; schedule appointments; and track client and service outcomes Oversee, triage and process student input of demographic information, testing, consents and clinical data; monitor and direct risk response Provide initial evaluation of urgency or need of student and facilitate scheduling based on that urgency/need and staff accessibility Manage and oversee unexpected and potential emergency/crisis situations until a Counselor is available Establish, maintain and monitor files and records related to student information and evaluate student eligibility per HIPAA guidelines Maintain highest level of state and federal confidentially and privacy standards; using tact and diplomacy at all times in regards to privacy laws, access and release of information Serve as testing administrator; score psychological instruments and create test profiles Help coordinate and manage APA accredited Doctoral Internship, Post Doctoral, Doctoral Practicum and Doctoral Training Programs Serve as the Department Employment Coordinator for all positions, ongoing yearly trainee hiring and onboarding process, and manage APPIC matching program employment system Manage and administer the selection process for all positions including the accreditation matching program On-board trainees on office practice and protocol Monitor and attend to all memberships, deadlines and requirements relating to accreditation process Research, teaching, conference and outreach coordination and presentation preparation Supervise and coordinate student referrals from the Student Conduct Office for center's drug/alcohol (AOD) programs Coordinate and assist with department outreach, consultation, and campus programming, including logistics, communication and materials Coordinate and assist with department conference presentations and teaching including logistics, communication and materials Help create, set up and manage surveys for research Plan, advise, manage and commit budget expenditures Anticipate, forecast and prepare suggested yearly budget expenditures Manage process, compile reports and advise director on budget status and handle discrepancies Manage processing and administrative accountability of various accounting transactions and contracts, maintaining documentation related to financial activities Manage and maintain inventory of office and testing supplies and equipment; reordering as necessary Design and implement effective budget policies and procedures for the Department Provide leadership, administrative report construction and support for the Department Provide receptionist, clerical and administrative assistance in the center Library and Technology Services liaison for website; including content creation and updates and provide staff training as necessary Compile statistics, create and prepare reports on a regular schedule and upon request Serve as liaison for on-call and crisis line service provider Manage work with vendors regarding housekeeping, maintenance, renovation, technical and operational support for the office suite Train staff for use of center related programs and policies Qualifications: Associates Degree or equivalent combination of education and experience; Bachelor's Degree preferred Three to five years related work experience Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Solid writing ability and organizational skills Solid analytical, decision making and problem solving skills Solid computer skills with experience using word processing and spreadsheet software Successful completion of standard background checks including but not limited to: social security verification, education verification, county and national criminal background checks, PATCH, FBI fingerprinting, Child Abuse Clearance. Based upon the requirements of the position Lehigh may also request credit history reports, motor vehicle checks and professional license/certification verification Special Considerations: This position works with minors This position has fiscal or financial responsibilities other than employee expense activity, such as processing or approving transactions; monitoring or preparing budgets; or generating income for University FTE:100% Grade and Hiring Minimum:7-37.5: $34,010 Salary commensurate with experience and qualifications.
