Job Description
The Compensation Project Analyst assists in the implementation and
administration of global compensation programs such as salaries,
short and long-term incentives, job evaluations, and salary surveys
that support the company's business strategy. The Compensation
Project Analyst partners with the global, regional, and local
HR/Compensation community to assist on the delivery of compensation
initiatives/policies/processes.
Job Duties
* Under the direction of the Compensation Manager, Global, support
the overall administration of key compensation cycles (salary
increase, short-term and long-term incentive programs), working
closely with the overall compensation team to ensure accurate data
as well as assist with managing planning and communications to
client populations.
* Own the global job evaluation training and governance operation
by informing the HR and business communities on job evaluation
process and standards.
* Create and maintain SOPs for global compensation operations.
* Support the job catalogue. Coordinate with regional Compensation
members on best practices.
* Support the global reporting and analysis of the job evaluation
SLA utilizing dashboard and data analytics to proactively enhance
the process and reduce cycle times. Identify trends and suggest
solutions to overcome process roadblocks, automation, or enhanced
processes.
* Complete special projects as assigned.
Job Requirements
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
* Bachelor's degree or equivalent knowledge required.
* Working knowledge of Mercer IPE, or similar methodology
* Minimum of three years' experience performing job analysis,
preparing job descriptions, evaluating positions using market
pricing and job matching methodology and writing and reviewing
sales and other variable compensation plans is required.
* Proficiency in P.C. software including Excel and Word
required.
* Excellent analytical, communication, and interpersonal skills
required.
* Must be able to work outside of regular business hours, as
needed.
