What you---ll be doing: Compare the dimensions and finish of the parts to the prints to ensure they are correct. As needed, run many machines at the same time. Set up and operate the machines, as well as load and unload raw materials and finished products. Observe and support the facility's safety regulations. Maintaining operational standards can help you get the most out of your machines. Make an effort to produce high-quality work. Assist Assistant Machine Operators in setting up, starting up, operating, and shutting down the machine to act as a leader to them. Assist the Plant Manager with any other tasks that may be assigned. Qualifications GED or high school diploma Lifting capacity of up to 50 pounds Mechanical fundamentals Basic math and proofreading abilities are required. Assist the Plant Manager with any other tasks that may be assigned. You should be proficient in: Machine Setups for Production Runs Mechanical Troubleshooting Skills High School / GED Excellent Communication Skills Shop Math Skills Experience in a Manufacturing Environment
