The Job Responsibilities
- Manage and/or support the Request for Proposal (RFP) review
process (e.g., intake, distribute, track status, collect and store
executed copies, etc.). Main focus of supporting the process is to
provide guidance on marketing information including specifications,
competitive positioning, etc. Attend strategy meetings with the
team to understand the purpose of the RFP
- Work with all relevant departments in the preparation of the
formal bid responses and agreements. This includes reviewing and
answering questions, preparing response binders and coordinating
all responses to ensure a consistent format and completion
according to the RFP instructions.
- Prepare initial drafts of RFPs for review. Prepare documents
and other standard templates and draft internal and external
correspondence. Assist in efficient workflow, advising of critical
items, reporting problems, recommending solutions, providing
procedures/guidelines/training
- Assist with management of internal contracts and approval
processes (e.g., signatures, corporate compliance information,
coordination with upper management and inside counsel, etc.).
Ensure deadline for submission is met.
- Maintain tracking files to help in completing RFP/ RFI/RFO/RFQ.
Develop/Revise SOP for RFP/ RFI/RFO/RFQ process. Develop resource
library of proposal tools, documents and graphics. Enhance process
to improve win rate. Implement and maintain RFP-enabling
tools.Administer, manage, and execute Draeger's vendor
credentialing process. Specific duties include:
- Negotiate contracts
- Establish and manage vendor relationships
- Create compliance reports
- Monitor compliance for entrance criteria for
hospital/facility
- Check and approve invoices for payment
- Develop and maintain the Vendor Badge database
- Maintain site to assure training requirements are available to
all personnel
- Coordinate and facilitate annual Vendor Credentialing
Forum
- Serve as a resource for questions and troubleshooting
issues
- Perform other duties as assigned
Your Qualifications
Education:Bachelor's Degree or equivalent combination of education
and experience.Related Experience:
- Minimum of 8-10 years related experience in the healthcare
medical device industry
- Must be able to articulate the modes of ventilation and
understand the critical care environment.
- Have a strong understanding of the Ventilation/Anesthesia
product line, including specifications and competitive
positioning
- Familiarity and experience handling and reviewing legal
agreements and other documents
- Experience providing administrative support to upper management
preferredSpecial Competencies or Certifications:
- Excellent writing, verbal and interpersonal communications
skills
- Excellent presentation skills
- A high degree of accuracy and attention to detail
- Ability to set priorities and work under pressure to meet time
deadlines
- Ability to multitask in a face pace environment where accuracy,
timeliness is critical
- Candidate must be a self-starter who is detail oriented,
analytical and can work independently
- Candidate must maintain a high degree of confidentiality and be
able to interface effectively with management, attorneys and other
professionals
- Professional presence and demeanor
- Excellent skills in word processing and preparation of
presentations, spreadsheets and reports
- Must have strong computer skills-(MS suite) with a focus on
Word
