We are currently seeking talented Nursing professionals to join
our Critical Care team. Continue your nursing career by joining a

The Critical Care Registered Nurse (RN) Internship is a full
time intensive six (6) month educational and clinical application
internship aimed at preparing a select group of novice RNs for
independent practice in any critical care unit at St. Luke's
Ideal candidates for application to the St. Luke's Critical Care
RN Internship Program are nursing students with prospective
Spring/Winter graduation dates who will be eligible to sit for
NCLEX and obtain licensure for practice in Pennsylvania.
The Critical Care RN Internship Program will be conducted at the
St. Luke's University Hospital and supervised by the Director,
Patient Care Services and Lead Critical Care Clinical Nurse
Upon successful completion of the Critical Care RN Internship
Program, the intern will be assigned employment in a critical care
unit where he/she will practice caring for critically ill patients
across their lifespans.

JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
PHYSICAL AND SENSORY REQUIREMENTS:
Sit up to 2 hours per day; 1 hour at a time. Stand for up to 10
hours per day; 8 hours at a time. Walk 6 hours per day; 10 minutes
at a time. Consistently lift, carry and push objects up to 10 lbs.
Occasionally lift, carry and push objects up to 75 lbs. Transports
patients weighing up to 500 lbs. via wheelchair, bed and/or
stretcher. Frequently stoop and bend. Frequently reach above should
level. Must be able to perceive attributes of an object through
touch. Must be able to hear as it relates to normal conversation
and high and low frequencies. Must be able to see as it relates to
general, near, far, color and peripheral vision.
Current RN license in the State of Pennsylvania.
TRAINING AND EXPERIENCE:
Individualized orientation program for all areas. Evidence of
successful completion of BLS.
