Excellent benefits!We Put QUALITY in EVERYTHING We Do!Pay: $14.00-$16.00 per hour--Job SummaryUnder supervision of the Sanitation Supervisor, this position is responsible for thoroughly cleaning all assigned areas of our meat processing plant. Complete job task as assigned and according to company policy and expectations, SQF standards and USDA requirements. Visually inspect areas for unacceptable flaws or SQF concerns and ensure areas are to established quality levels, prior to final check by Supervisor. Must be able to work quick and accurately. Follow all USDA,GMP, and company HACCP requirements. Maintain and observe all safety rules and regulations at all times. Perform other duties as assigned.--ResponsibilitiesCleaning and sanitizing areas of plant as assigned, and/in accordance with company policy and expectations.Keep and maintain a consistent pace in order to achieve targeted productivity.Proper equipment set up, use, operation and troubleshooting when necessary.Proper use of chemicals and safety equipment.Communicate all SQF concerns to supervisor.Safety of self and those around you. Includes ensuring product integrity and safety.--Other FunctionsMaintain positive working relationships with managers and fellow employees. Assist management in quality improvement projects as required. Once trained, have the ability to work independently with minor supervision, Achieving the desired results within set time standards.--QualificationsAbility to work independently with minor supervision, achieving the desired results within the set time standards. Must be able to follow instructions/directions. Strict adherence to safety at all times a must. Working knowledge of company standards and expectations, SQF guidelines and USDA requirements. Organizational skills helpful. Must have minor understanding of the English Language. Must be willing to work in rooms of various temperatures, not excluding outside areas of the plant. Temperatures within the plant can be as cold as 28 degrees. Outside conditions are subject to weather extremes. Must be able to climb ladders and work at elevated heights. Must be able to work safely on slippery walking surfaces due to fat, meat, grease, soap, water, etc. Excellent attendance and ability to maintain positive working relationships with lead staff and fellow co-workers. Must be able to work overtime as required.Required qualifications:
