Position Summary: The primary responsibility of a Technician -
Material Handler is to stock, organize, and maintain components on
the production floor. They must possess an overall knowledge of
GMP’s, ISO, and OSHA requirements in the manufacturing environment.
This position shall operate in accordance with company policies &
procedures, FDA regulations, ISO standards, the Canadian Medical
Device Regulations (CMDR) and the Medical Device Directives (MDD).
Responsibilities: Essential Duties Assists supervisor to ensure
that production operators have sufficient stock of materials.
Collects, checks and keeps records of materials flow to and from
production area. The job function listed is not exhaustive and
shall also include any responsibilities as assigned by the
Supervisor from time to time. Knowledge and Skills Requirements:
Required to apply intermediate working knowledge of technical
field/area of specialization. Exercises general application of
principles, theories and concepts, and proposes a course of action.
Performs Intermediate shop floor competencies. Supervision Given
and Received: Works under general supervision. May periodically
assist in orienting, training, assigning & checking the work of
other peers. General: It shall be the duty of every employee while
at work to take reasonable care for safety and health of
himself/herself and other persons. Contacts/Cooperation: Contacts
are primarily with department supervisors, leads, subordinates, and
peers. Occasional contact with external contractors/vendors. Limit
of Authorization/Authority: Please refer to the Corporate
Guidelines or BBMUS Guidelines or job specific authorities where

Qualifications-Experience/Training/Education/Etc Required: High
school diploma/G.E.D or equivalent required 0-0.5 years related
experience OR PBS requirements completed and pass assessment at
appropriate level. Applicable industry/professional certification
required. Ability to work non-standard schedule as needed Problem
Solving: May require some limited judgement in resolving problems

Rate: $$22.52/hr. plus shift differential The targeted range for
this role takes into account a range of factors that are considered
