CNS Driver Training Center is thrilled to welcome multiple talented
and driven CDL Instructors to one of the fastest-growing CDL Driver
Training Center teams in the country! This temporary/seasonal
position (1099 employee) is designed to provide talented and
dedicated CMV professionals (who may find themselves with less work
during the winter season) with an opportunity to train up the next
generation of drivers in a one-to-one capacity at one of the most
sought after schools in the state of Pennsylvania. You'll report
directly to our Vice President of Operations for our Driver
Training Center. We anticipate this position running from November
2025 - March 2026, however, we are open to working with your
professional needs. This is a chance to be part of a team driving
industry-defining excellence! As a CDL Instructor, you will be
responsible for delivering engaging, hands-on training to students,
setting clear objectives, and evaluating trainee performance.
You'll prepare the truck driving range, maintain accurate records,
and provide mentorship and support to help students succeed. You’ll
also collaborate with the VP of Operations to manage equipment
maintenance and stay current on industry regulations and
compliance. On-site travel for contracted training may be required.
This role offers cross-training opportunities within the company
and the chance to contribute to classroom instruction as needed. If

Doing (Job Duties): Prepare and deliver instructional activities
that facilitate active learning experiences for CDL trainees.
Establish and communicate clear objectives for each learning
activity. Prepare the truck driving range for class and
instruction. Observe and assess trainee performance, providing
feedback to support their development. Maintain accurate and
complete records of trainee progress throughout the program. Offer
mentorship within the trucking industry. Collaborate with the VP of
Operations to oversee equipment maintenance, performing light.
repairs and scheduling as needed. Implement hands-on training in
line with the CNS CDL curriculum. Stay current with industry
regulations, compliance, and continuing education to ensure program
quality. Travel to client sites for contracted training as needed.

We Need from You (Skills/Requirements) To be successful in this
position, the employee will possess the following skills and
competencies: A minimum of 5 years driving with a CDL
Detail-oriented with strong attention to accuracy Effective
communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to
provide clear instruction Maintain a positive attitude in all
circumstances Ability to multi-task and effectively manage time and
responsibilities Exceptional driving skills Ability to work
independently without direct supervision or on-site support High
School Diploma or equivalent Class "A" Unrestricted CDL License
Current DOT medical examination and valid medical card Disclaimer:
The physical requirements of the CDL Instructor position include
standing and walking for extended periods, working outdoors in
various weather conditions (hot, cold, rain, wind), and
demonstrating vehicle inspections, maneuvers, and driving
techniques. The role also requires manual dexterity, visual acuity,
