As a Senior Lead Architect (Business Architect) at JPMorganChase within Asset and Wealth Management, you will support a critical Agentic AI program that is transformational to the Global Private Bank. In this pivotal role, you will serve as the strategic bridge between business vision and technology execution, defining how AI-powered capabilities will reshape the bank’s operating model, client journeys, and value delivery across the wealth management ecosystem. Your deep expertise in business architecture principles, wealth management operations, and emerging AI technologies will be essential for designing target-state business models that unlock new sources of competitive advantage. With superior communication and stakeholder alignment abilities, you will build consensus across business and technology leadership, influence strategic direction, and drive successful transformation. As a subject matter expert, you will define business capability frameworks, value streams, and operating model blueprints that guide the integration of agentic AI across the Global Private Bank. Job Responsibilities Define and articulate the target-state business architecture for AI-enabled wealth management, including capability maps, value streams, and operating model blueprints that align with the Global Private Bank's strategic objectives. Partner with senior stakeholders across Operations, Finance, Technology, and business domains globally to gather functional and business requirements, performing detailed analysis to understand complex current-state and target-state data flows, operating models, and platform landscapes. Synthesize business and functional requirements into tangible, technology-based solution proposals that are clearly understandable to both business and technology audiences, bridging the gap between strategic intent and technical execution. Identify and prioritize high-impact AI use cases by analyzing business processes, client journeys, and operational pain points, translating opportunities into structured business requirements and measurable success criteria. Build and maintain a comprehensive business function inventory mapping capabilities to available platforms and technologies, identifying gaps and opportunities for consolidation, modernization, or AI-enabled transformation. Develop comprehensive business cases for AI investments, articulating value propositions, expected outcomes, dependencies, and success metrics to support executive decision-making and funding prioritization. Establish governance frameworks and business guardrails for AI-enabled processes, ensuring alignment with regulatory requirements, risk appetite, and the bank's fiduciary responsibilities to clients. Facilitate cross-functional workshops and design sessions to build shared understanding, align stakeholders on business priorities, and drive consensus on capability investments and sequencing. Provide regular updates to senior management across Operations, Finance, and Technology, communicating progress, risks, and strategic recommendations with clarity and impact. Required Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills Formal training or certification on software engineering concepts and 5 years applied experience 5 years of experience or equivalent expertise in business architecture, strategy consulting, or operating model design within financial services, with demonstrated ability to drive large-scale transformation initiatives. Deep domain knowledge of wealth management, private banking, or asset management operations, including client lifecycle, advisory processes, lending, and investment platforms. Proven ability to translate business strategy into actionable architecture artifacts, including capability models, value stream maps, business process blueprints, and target operating models.
