• Development and maintenance of custom, in-house applications
• Work as a global team member on application development projects
• Coordinate application requirements with business principals
• Troubleshoot and maintain existing applications
• Integrate custom applications with commercial-off-the-shelf (COTS) applications
• Migrate business processes to newer application platforms
• Support and train application users
• Create custom reports using ad-hoc SQL queriesREQUIREMENTS
  • Experience with global distributed applications, related platform and network considerations
  • Understanding of information security within systems and user devices
  • Available to work flexible hours on occasion to meet with team members based in Australia and UK
  • Ability to prioritize tasks, stakeholders, budget, and time
  • A strong drive to provide excellent customer service
  • Resourcefulness and quick-thinking nature to troubleshoot technical issues as they arise QUALIFICATIONS
    • Two or four year degree in computer science or related technical field
    • 5+ years of hands-on programming experience, pro-actively solving problems and providing support
    • Expertise with Microsoft programming and data tools: Visual Studio, TFS, .NET, C#, Visual Basic, SQL Server, T-SQL
    • PREFER
    • Previous employment in the manufacturing industry
    • Experience with Microsoft Access, SharePoint, and SSRS
