Job Description:
Ryder, a leader in the logistics and transportation industry, is
seeking a skilled CDL Class A OTR (Over the Road) Solo Truck Driver
to join our dynamic team. We are committed to delivering efficient,

services to businesses nationwide. As a key member of our fleet,
you will play an integral role in ensuring the safe and timely
delivery of goods, helping to maintain Ryder's reputation for
reliability. This position is ideal for individuals who are
passionate about trucking, enjoy long-haul travel, and are
meticulous about safety and timely delivery. Safely operate a
tractor-trailer truck over long distances to deliver goods on time,
following prescribed routes and adhering to all traffic laws.
Perform daily pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections and report
any issues or maintenance needs. Properly secure cargo for
transport and ensure all paperwork is complete and accurate.
Communicate regularly with the dispatch team to report progress of
delivery and any issues encountered on the road. Adhere to company
policies and guidelines as well as federal and state regulations
regarding rest breaks and driving hours. Handle the basic
maintenance of the truck when needed, such as checking oil and
refueling. Provide exceptional customer service during deliveries,
representing Ryder professionally at all times. Proficient in
operating a CDL Class A vehicle safely and efficiently. Strong
awareness of safety procedures and legal transport guidelines.
Excellent time management to fulfill tight schedules. Ability to
manage routes and routines so they proceed in the most efficient
way possible. Basic mechanical skills to address vehicle
maintenance issues. Good physical condition to handle the demands
of a long-haul trucking job. Medical Insurance Dental Insurance

A. Must have completed a certified driver training school or hold
an equivalent certification. Health certificate as required by the
Department of Transportation (DOT).
