Job Description & Requirements - Specialty: OR - Operating Room - Discipline: RN - Start Date: 03/16/2026 - Duration: 13 weeks - 40 hours per week - Shift: 8 hours, days - Employment Type: Travel /n Job Description/n American Traveler is seeking an experienced Operating Room RN with charge experience and a valid PA or compact license for a high-volume ambulatory surgery center. /n /n Responsibilities/n - Assignment at a high-volume ambulatory surgery center in the Operating Room - Day shift schedule, Monday through Friday, 6:30 AM to 3:00 PM (5x8 hour shifts) - No weekend, on-call, or floating requirements - SCRUBS provided by the facility - Responsible for circulating and charge duties in a high-volume ambulatory surgical setting - Must adhere to required protocols including cardiac monitoring and safety timeouts - No holiday coverage required for this assignment - First-time travelers are accepted - Candidates within 50 miles are considered local at a different rate /n /n Requirements/n - Active PA or compact RN license in hand - BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications required - Minimum of 2 years of Operating Room nursing experience - Charge nurse experience required - Ambulatory OR experience required - Experience with cardiac monitoring and the Universal Protocol (Time Out) procedure required /n Benefits/n - High Pay and Bonuses - Medical, Dental and Vision Insurance with Day 1 Options - 401(k) Plan - Weekly Payroll Deposit - Free Online CEUs - Generous Housing Allowance - Travel and Licensure Reimbursements - Non-taxed Per Diem and Subsidy - Traveler Rewards and Discounts /n American Traveler Job ID P-670713.
