Responsibilities: Essential DutiesSupervises all functions within
the Mold Shop to ensure safe, timely and efficient maintenance of
injection molds and the production of needed machine shop produced
items.Main responsibilities include scheduling and prioritizing of
all shop functions within the areas of repair, cleaning, component
making and traditional machine shop production projects.Responsible
for the overall direction, coordination and evaluation of the work
done by carrying out these job responsibilities in accordance with
the organization's policies and applicable laws.Responsible for
department safety, compliance to ISO Train objectives and related
training.Maintaining of the department's Tier 1 board information
board with updated information. This will include the development
of some of the data posted.Monitoring / purchasing of shop
consumables for our MSC supply cabinet. This will also include
meetings with sales / technical representatives on a regular
basis.Work with Mold Engineering and Maintenance on troubleshooting
mold issues.Lead and assist in department improvement
projects.Responsibilities include interviewing prospective
employees; training employees; planning, assigning and directing
work; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints;
safety and resolving problems with the close direction of the Mold
Shop Manager. The job function listed is not exhaustive and shall
also include any responsibilities as assigned by the Supervisor
from time to time. General: It shall be the duty of every employee

Requires full working knowledge of relevant business practices and

principles and concepts and integrates them to propose a course of

employees, assigning tasks and checking work at frequent intervals.
Accountabilities include work and people scheduling, performance
management and recommendations for hiring decisions.Judgement is
required in resolving complex problems based on experience.Contacts
are primarily with department supervisors, leads, subordinates, and
peers. Occasional contact with external contractors/vendors.
QualificationsExpertise: Qualifications
-Education/Experience/Training/Etc Required:Bachelor's degree
required or equivalent combination of education and
experience.04-06 years related experience required.Applicable
industry/professional certification preferred.Regular and
predictable attendanceAbility to work non-standard schedule as
needed, On-call hours as neededWhile performing the duties of this
job, the employee is regularly required to sit and talk or hear.
