Job Description:

We are seeking a Board Eligible or Board Certified Gastroenterologist for an ongoing locum tenens opportunity focused on inpatient procedures and call coverage in a high acuity hospital setting.

Coverage includes weekend call blocks and 7 day coverage blocks, with structured daytime procedural hours and night call responsibilities.

Schedule Overview:

• 10-hour day shifts: 7:00 AM 5:00 PM
• Night call required
• Weekend coverage: Friday 5:00 PM Monday 7:00 AM
• 7 day coverage blocks: Monday 7:00 AM Monday 7:00 AM

Confirmed Coverage Dates Include:

• May 4 (7:00 AM) May 11 (7:00 AM)
• June 15 (7:00 AM) June 19 (5:00 PM)
• June 22 (7:00 AM) June 26 (5:00 PM)
• July 20 (7:00 AM) July 27 (7:00 AM)
• August 17 (7:00 AM) August 24 (7:00 AM)

Daytime procedural hours are guaranteed. Coverage needs typically average one week per month plus weekend support.

The role supports adult patients only and does not include ERCP or EUS procedures. Anesthesiology support is available onsite for all procedures.
