Job Description:
Description Atlantic Medical Group is seeking a Full Time
Clinical Administrator (RN) to join the AMG Oncology Operations
team in Morristown NJ area. Will need to travel to Practice
locations on regular basis. This will be supporting 9 practices
from a clinical standpoint. Accountabilities: The clinical
administrator (RN) primary responsibilities are to To promote
standardized clinical work flow and optimal patient care and
outcomes throughout AMG; Evaluate performance, provide feedback and
mentoring, develop education programs, and contribute to staff
professional development; Provide oversight, guidance and
leadership for operational, clinical and practical day to day
functioning of assigned practices. Reviews patient and team member
data to measure the effectiveness of patient care Collaborates with
senior leadership, interdisciplinary teams, and other stakeholders
to develop, implement and evaluate programs and services in AMG
that align with AHS Collaborates with other disciplines in
consultation, teaching, management, and research activities to
improve outcomes in nursing practice and enhance the healthcare
environment Provides leadership and guidance to other clinical and
non-clinical team members Addresses any personnel issues to promote
a productive and supportive work environment Plans with staff to
identify interventions needed to successfully implement workflow
changes Maintains patient confidence and protects operations by
monitoring confidential information processing Maintains
professional and technical knowledge by attending educational
workshops; reviewing professional publications; establishing
personal networks; participating in professional societies Assures
quality of care by ensuring compliance and adherence to state Board
of Nursing and state Nurse Practice Act requirements and to other
governing agency regulations; measuring health outcomes against
standards; making or recommending adjustments. Monitors performance
for assigned practices for the following: Patient Experience
(weekly and monthly) Practice Productivity reports Practice
Accessibility reports Participates in budget preparation and
monitors quarterly progress to goal Monitors KPI’s for assigned
practices - Huddles HRO - Maintains clinical and non-clinical
guidelines by writing and updating policies and procedures in
collaboration with the AMG policy oversight committee Clinical:
Identifies the clinical and professional development needs of
nursing staff, plans, and provides education in collaboration with
clinical services department Assesses the need for, plans, and
implements quality improvement programs for both clinical education
and environment of care in collaboration with clinical services
department Applies evidence-based healthcare practices and nursing
standards. Performs needs-assessments and develops programs to
address individual and systematic gaps. Critically evaluates
existing practice based on current research findings and integrates
changes into practice Promotes and maintains safe and clean working
environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations,
calling for assistance from other health care professionals within
the system and from regulatory agencies when appropriate Protects
patients and team members by reinforcing infection-control policies
and protocols, enforcing medication administration, storage
procedures, and controlled substance regulations and policies.
Consistently follows the National Patient Safety Goals Assesses and
assists in performing clinical competencies and critical thinking
skills in collaboration with practice leadership Participates in
the hiring and evaluation process of nurses in assigned practices
Collaborates with practice on oversight and maintenance of POCT,
procedure scope processing, in-office procedures Through the model
of Shared Governance, collaborates with all members of the health
care team with a focus on promoting evidence based care within a
healing culture for the patient population served and their
families. Pursues and participates in formal and independent
learning activities to enhance knowledge, clinical competency, and
professional development. Supports the overall strategic goals of
AMG, the AHS hospital sites, Atlantic Visiting Nurse, and the

Inclusion, and Extraordinary Caring. Qualifications Education:
Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing, BSN - Masters in Nursing Preferred
MSN Qualifications/Requirements: 7 years clinical experience or
management experience in an ambulatory setting; as well as 2-3
years acute care experience preferred Oncology experience preferred
BLS required Current RN Licensure in the State of New Jersey
Demonstrated time-management skills and ability to multi-task,
prioritize workload and problem-solve. Ability to work
independently and with minimum supervision Excellent verbal and
written communication skills Knowledge and command of electronic
medical records systems. (Microsoft Office). EPIC Ambulatory
experience a plus Experience in Adult Learning Principles Travel to
practice sites as required - Eastern, central, northern
