About the Opportunity: Hybrid or Remote: Predominantly in-person with some outpatient rotations Shift: Varies with rotations Schedule: Monday to Friday Hours: Standard business hours Setting: Hospital and outpatient office Responsibilities: The Gastroenterologist will be responsible for: Providing high-quality patient care in the field of gastroenterology Maintaining outpatient clinic services at the Merrick office Rotating inpatient duties at Mercy Hospital Participating in a call rotation with other specialists Ensuring compliance with medical protocols and vaccination requirements Qualifications: Board-Certified/Board-Eligible in Gastroenterology MD/DO degree required Current New York medical license Proficiency in gastroenterological procedures Strong diagnostic skills Excellent communication skills Detail-oriented Compassionate and patient-focused Ability to work in a team environment Desired Skills: Experience in hospital and outpatient settings Advanced gastroenterological training Certification in specialized procedures Technical proficiency in medical equipment Strong interpersonal skills
