As a Surgery Cardiothoracic Physician, you will play a vital role in managing urgent surgical cases, from cath lab assessments to postoperative care, ensuring patients receive high-quality treatment in a fast-paced environment. Required Skills: Board Certified or Board Eligible in Cardiac Surgery Valid Pennsylvania Medical License DEA Certification Minimum of 1 year of cardiothoracic surgical experience Proficiency in Epic EMR system Ability to work independently with strong clinical judgment Excellent communication and teamwork skills Nice to Have Skills: Experience with urgent/emergency cardiac procedures Prior exposure to multi-disciplinary collaborations Ability to perform or assist with routine postoperative assessments Familiarity with hospital protocols related to cardiothoracic surgery Preferred Education and Experience: MD or DO degree from an accredited institution At least 1 year of recent clinical experience in a hospital setting involving cardiothoracic procedures Relevant certifications in advanced cardiac life support (ACLS) Other Requirements: Willingness to commit to an ongoing schedule of 3 weekends per month, with 24-hour call shifts from Friday 12 PM to Monday 7 AM Flexible to support urgent surgeries from cath lab to ICU Ability to adapt to a fast-paced, high-stakes environment This esteemed role offers an hourly pay rate of $3,695.25, along with competitive benefits including comprehensive medical coverage, weekly direct deposit pay schedule, paid sick leave, licensure and certification reimbursements, and a robust referral bonus program.
