registered nurse (RN) license and minimum 1 years OR RN experience
required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not
be considered. Providing skilled nursing care in a fast-paced
operating room environment, this role involves delivering
comprehensive patient care and collaborating with multidisciplinary
teams to ensure positive surgical outcomes. The position is based
in Lancaster, TX, and is a contract opportunity requiring a
motivated RN with a strong background in operating room nursing.
Responsibilities include: Implementing plan of care interventions
such as medication administration, specimen collection, and
clinical treatments. Documenting all patient care accurately and
thoroughly. Monitoring patient conditions and communicating
relevant information to the care team, physicians, patients, and
families. Assisting patients with activities of daily living
including hygiene, elimination, nutrition, and ambulation.
Coordinating patient care across disciplines, including transfer,
discharge, referral, and psychosocial support needs. Providing
patient and family education tailored to age, culture, condition,
and circumstances. Advocating for the physical and emotional
well-being of each patient. Performing surgery procedures and
operating Stryker video towers for laparoscopic cases.
Participating in weekday and weekend on-call rotations with a
one-hour response time and possibly floating between two
facilities. Qualifications and Desired Experience: Current Texas RN
license. 2 years recent Operating Room nursing experience. ACLS,
BLS, and PALS certifications from the American Heart Association.
Proficient in surgery procedures and familiar with laparoscopic
equipment. Willingness to work Monday-Friday 8:00 AM 4:30 PM with
on-call and weekend duties. Location Insights:Lancaster, TX, is a
