Program Level II Trauma Center 506 hospital beds Average Daily
Census: 18-20 Dedicated Admitter Day (6a-6p): 11 physicians & 2
NPPA Night (6p-6a): 2 physicians & 1 NPPA 7-on-7-off schedule
Closed ICU EMR: Meditech Qualifications Licensure: VA Board
Certification: ABIM/ABFM Eligible or Certified Facility & Clinical
Details LewisGale Medical Center is a 306-bed facility staffed with
highly skilled medical professionals. The hospital is part of a
system with four hospitals, two Cancer Centers and six Outpatient
Centers catering to over 250,000 patients annually. LewisGale
Medical Center is an accredited chest pain center approved by the
Society of Cardiovascular Patient Care, and it is a top performer
on key quality measures by the Joint Commission. Community
Information Salem is a small city in Roanoke County, Virginia,
situated in the Shenandoah Valley between the Allegheny and Blue
Ridge Mountains on the Roanoke River. Salem offers all the beauty

is located approximately 30 miles from Blacksburg and 104 miles
