Job Description:
Clover Meadows Rehabilitation and Healthcare Center is seeking a
dedicated Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) to join our team. In
this role, you will be an integral part of our mission to provide
comprehensive, compassionate care, assisting our healthcare
professionals in delivering quality rehabilitation services and
long-term care. Your work will support our resident-centered
approach, ensuring the highest standards of clinical support within
our facility. This position requires a blend of clinical skills and
a compassionate approach, making it ideal for those committed to
enhancing patient well-being. Assist physicians and nursing staff
in the delivery of patient care by performing clinical tasks such
as taking vital signs, administering medications, and collecting
specimen samples. Prepare patients for examination and treatment by
taking patient histories and maintaining patient records. Perform
routine diagnostic procedures and report findings to the
supervising physician. Educate and update patients on medical
treatments and procedures. Maintain a clean and safe environment by
adhering to infection-control and hazardous waste policies. Ensure
the readiness of examination rooms by stocking necessary supplies
and equipment. Participate in health promotions, education, and
advocacy activities. Assist in scheduling appointments and follow
up with patients as needed. Proficient in clinical procedures and
safety protocols. Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
Ability to operate medical equipment, like EKG machines. Experience
in electronic health records (EHR) systems. Strong organizational
skills and attention to detail. Medical Insurance Dental Insurance
Vision Insurance Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) credential from
the American Association of Medical Assistants (AAMA) is required.
CPR certification is preferred.
