Job Description:

Urgent Opportunity Needed for Gastroenterologist in Pennsylvania! Approximately 2 hours from Whitehall! We are seeking a dedicated Board-certified Gastroenterologist to join our team as a Locum Tenens physician. This position offers a unique opportunity to work in both inpatient and outpatient settings within a well-established facility. Key Responsibilities: Deliver high-quality patient care for both inpatient and outpatient services. Perform consultations, procedures, and rounding as per the schedule. Participate in a shared call schedule from Friday PM to Friday PM. Work collaboratively with a team of healthcare professionals. Schedule: Monday to Friday, 7 AM - 5 PM 7-day call coverage, starting Friday evening to the following Friday evening Requirements: Board Certification in Gastroenterology. Active Pennsylvania medical license. ACLS and BLS certifications. Fellowship training is preferred. Experience with the Epic EMR system is advantageous. Privileges and Certification: Temporary privileges available. The facility is stroke certified. Patient Load: Approximately 11-13 patients per shift.
