Registered Nurse (RN) | Progressive Care Unit Location: Flushing, NY Agency: Cynet Health Pay: $2,346 per week Shift Information: 3 days Contract Duration: 8 Weeks Start Date: 2/23/2026 About the Position Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: RN Specialty: Progressive Care Unit Duration: 8 weeks Shift: Night Shift Hours per Shift: 11.5 hours Experience: Minimum of 2 years in ventilator management and telemetry experience. Minimum of 2 years of experience on a medical-surgical, progressive care, or stepdown unit in a hospital setting. License: Client RN License Certifications: AHA BLS Must-Have: - BSN - Travel Experience or local experience - Level 1 Trauma Experience - 2 years of experience in specialty in the last 3 years - Willingness to float to appropriate units based on skill set - Compliance with COVID and flu vaccination requirements Description: Each applicant must have a minimum of 2 years of ventilator management and telemetry experience. A minimum of 2 years of experience on a medical-surgical, progressive care, or stepdown unit in a hospital setting is required. This position requires a willingness to float to units appropriate for the skill set of the registered nurse. Compliance with COVID and flu vaccination requirements is necessary prior to the start date. Weekend work is required every other weekend. This role involves a total of 34.5 hours of work per week with no call requirements. Interviews include a voice advantage interview and a screening or interview with the nurse manager. Offers are valid for 48 business hours. If an offer is not confirmed within the 48-hour timeframe, it will be rescinded and offered to the next qualified clinician. Scrubs should be navy bottoms with a white top or all white. Dark shoes are required for navy bottoms and white shoes for an all-white outfit.
