location : New York, NY 10004 Shift : 9:00 AM-5:00 PM Pay : $20-$29
/hr Contract : 3-month possible extension Skills: Healthcare Field
Experience Bachelors Degree Duties : Facilitate all aspects of
provider credentialing, including initial appointments,
reappointments, credential audits, and clinical privileging for
Medical Staff, Allied Health Professionals, and other providers in
accordance with corporate policies, procedures, and hospital
bylaws. Utilize the MDStaff credentialing software application to
perform and monitor credentialing and background checks while
ensuring accuracy and data integrity. Interpret and ensure
compliance with applicable accrediting and regulatory agency
requirements, maintaining working knowledge of statutes and laws
related to credentialing. Responsible for all aspects of provider
credentialing and re-credentialing. Ensure physician licenses are
renewed prior to expiration. Complete primary source verification
for new and existing providers to ensure due diligence. Maintain
and update assigned physician files, ensuring records are current
and accurate. Utilize database status alerts, reporting functions,
software tools, and scanned documentation. Maintain consistency in
database entry to support accurate credentialing standards and
processes. Provide credentialing back-up coverage for other members
