Job Description & Requirements Specialty: Radiology Technologist Discipline: Allied Health Professional Duration: 13 weeks 40 hours per week Shift: 8 hours, days Employment Type: Local Contract WCS Healthcare is currently seeking a radiology technologist for a 13-week contract assignment at Prestigious Hospital in Long Island City, NY. Job Requirements: Day Shfit. 8AM-4PM. Position patient and adjust equipment to obtain images as requested by the physician. Set up, operate, and maintain x-ray equipment according to policy and procedure. Ability to explain procedures to patients. Minimize radiation to patient and staff by practicing radiation protection techniques. Job Requirements: At least one year of General Radiology Technologist experience is required. Graduate of an accredited radiology program. ARRT certified. BLS certification from the AHA. 2 years of experience required N.Y. State Dept. of Health.
