ARMStaffing is seeking a travel nurse RN Long Term Acute Care for a travel nursing job in Bethlehem, Pennsylvania. Job Description & Requirements - Specialty: Long Term Acute Care - Discipline: RN - Start Date: 01/19/2026 - Duration: 8 weeks - 36 hours per week - Shift: 12 hours, nights - Employment Type: Travel LTAC nurses deliver high-quality, specialized care to patients with complex, long-term medical needs. As an LTAC RN, you will provide direct patient care in a dynamic and multidisciplinary environment that bridges acute and rehabilitative services. Your responsibilities will include managing ventilators, wound care, medication administration, and continuous assessment of critically ill patients. Key Responsibilities: • Deliver compassionate, evidence-based nursing care to medically complex patients. • Monitor and respond to changes in patient conditions, including those requiring advanced critical care interventions. • Manage high-acuity treatments such as tracheostomy care, ventilator support, and extensive wound management. • Collaborate with physicians, respiratory therapists, and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement patient care plans. • Educate patients and their families on treatment plans and recovery expectations. • Document patient progress accurately and maintain compliance with hospital protocols and regulatory standards. Qualifications: • Active RN license in the state of Pennsylvania (or compact state license, if applicable) • Minimum of 1-2 years of nursing experience in an acute care setting • ICU experience strongly preferred • BLS and ACLS certification required • Excellent critical thinking, communication, and teamwork skills Preferred Skills: • Prior experience in a long-term acute care or step-down unit • Familiarity with EMR systems (e.g., Epic, Cerner) • Knowledge of ventilator management and complex wound care At ARMStaffing we take care of our nurses!
