JOB DESCRIPTION: - What does an LNA do?
The LNA-In-Training participant performs under the supervision of Licensed Nurse in direct services for the patients and assists in unit function. -Responsible for completing assigned duties and accountable to the Unit Manager and Charge Nurse. Functions within Nursing Department and CVMC/WDR policies and procedures. -Supports the philosophy, objectives and goals of the Nursing Department and CVMC/WDR.
Course Schedule:
The Didactic and Clinical components of the course will be held Monday-Friday from 7:30am-4:00pm. Following the completion of the course and after sitting for the LNA licensure exam, Trainees will then transition into their Full-Time roles on their assigned unit and work 3 12-hr shifts and every other weekend rotations.
EDUCATION:
High School graduate or equivalent or working toward it. -Must be at least 18 years of age.
EXPERIENCE:
Must demonstrate ability to follow instructions and a willingness to learn.
