Job Title: Travel Nurse RNWe are seeking a skilled Travel Nurse RN to join our team at Lehigh Valley Hospital - Muhlenberg. As a Travel Nurse RN, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care in a fast-paced surgical environment.Responsibilities:

• Manage the care of designated operative patients, ensuring their safety and well-being throughout the surgical process.
• Perform ongoing patient assessments, creating and maintaining a safe environment that promotes healing and recovery.
• Implement and enforce all policies and procedures, adhering to strict standards of care and quality.
• Handle instruments, supplies, and equipment with precision and attention to detail, ensuring a smooth surgical procedure.
• Develop a plan of perioperative nursing care based on patient assessment, considering physical, psychosocial, cultural, growth, and development dimensions.Requirements:
  • Graduate of an accredited Nursing program, with a strong foundation in nursing principles and practices.
  • At least 1 year of Acute Care experience, with a focus on perioperative nursing.
  • Ability to scrub and circulate, with a strong understanding of surgical procedures and protocols.
  • Successful completion of Registered Nurse orientation, with a focus on perioperative nursing.
  • Minimum ability to circulate surgical procedures, with a strong attention to detail and ability to multitask.
  • Knowledge and competence that reflects current nursing practice, with a focus on patient safety and quality care.
  • Ability to organize and prioritize assignments in the delivery of patient care, with a focus on efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Successful completion of additional orientation programs related to specialty, with a focus on perioperative nursing.
  • Attainment and maintenance of unit-specific competencies, with a focus on patient safety and quality care.
  • Basic computer skills, with a focus on electronic medical records and documentation.
  • REQUIRED PROOF of COVID & FLU vaccination MUST be provided at time candidate is submitted (Declinations are accepted).
  • LVHN requires a full Hep B series (3 doses) or positive Hep B antibody documentation.Schedule Information:
    • Do NOT submit anyone who lives less than 50 miles radius from the LVHN position worksite.
    • Submission attestation must be provided when presenting Travel RNs.Additional Details:
