The St. Luke's Physician provides medical services in the general
care and treatment of patients in both practice and hospital
settings. Physician provides comprehensive medical services for
patients on a continuing basis. Physician will provide high
quality, cost effective medical care. This individual will also
participate in quality, patient satisfaction and performance
improvement initiatives.
JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
PHYSICAL AND SENSORY REQUIREMENTS:
Sitting for up to three (3) hours per day; three (3) hours a t a
time. - Standing for up to eight (8) hours per day; eight (8) hours
at a time. - Walking for up to six (6) hours per day; one (1) hour
at a time. - Frequent fingering, handling, grasping, twisting, and
turning as it relates to therapeutic procedures. - Consistently
lift, carry, and push objects up to 10 pounds. - Occasionally lift,
carry, and push objects up to 75 pounds. - Rarely lifting with
assistance, up to 100 pounds. - Rarely pushing and pulling patients
weighing up to 300 pounds in a wheel chair or stretcher. -
Occasionally stooping and bending. - Must be able to perceive
attributes of an object through touch. - Seeing as it relates to
normal near, far, color, and peripheral vision. - Hearing as it
relates to normal conversation and high and low frequencies.
EDUCATION: - Graduate of an accredited medical school and
completion of residency and/or fellowship in area of specialty.
TRAINING AND EXPERIENCE: - Current or recent experience in area of
specialty.
LICENSE AND CERTIFICATIONS: - MD or DO - licensed by the state
licensure board within the State of practice. Board
Certified/Eligible in the area of specialty by the appropriate
medical board.
