Job Description:

Duties:- Perform dental hygiene procedures, including teeth cleaning, scaling, and polishing, NSPTherapy. NEW GRADS WELCOME to apply.- Take and develop dental x-rays/Panoramic using Dexis digital radiography- Conduct head and neck and intra oral oral cancer screenings- Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques and provide personalized oral care instructions and periodontal therapy pre and post treatment.- Administer local anesthesia as needed- Assist dentists during procedures if needed by providing necessary tools and materials- Maintain accurate patient records using Dentrix/Dexis dental software systems- Follow infection control protocols to ensure a safe and clean environment- Collaborate with the dental team to provide comprehensive patient care. Crossover skills required to take impressions, fabricate bleaching trays and utilize Zoom bleaching techniques.Skills:- Strong knowledge of dental hygiene principles, ethics and practices- Proficiency in using Dentrix for patient record management and scheduling and Dexis for digital radiography- Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with patients and explain treatment plans.- Attention to detail to ensure accurate documentation and adherence to infection control protocols- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced dental office environment.
