Environmental Health and Safety (EHS) Specialist (2)
2nd shift & 3rd shiftThesuccessful candidates will provide EHS leadership and guidance to ensure that all individuals are aware of EHSprograms, while fostering a safety-conscious atmosphere based on a culture ofcaring.Key--responsibilities of this position are:Support EHS plans, programs, andprocedures that promote safe and healthy working conditions and comply withfederal, state, and local EHS regulations.Effectively communicate, train andguide associates in matters relating to safety, security, and environmentalprograms to ensure compliance with OSHA and other regulatory agencies.Serve as a liaison withsupervisors to ensure timely incident reporting, root cause analysis, andcorrective and preventative actions.Implement preventative programsincluding behavior-based safety and risk assessments.Work with the EHS Manager and plant leadership to evolve the culture to be best-in-class focused on associate accountabilityand involvement.Minimum--qualifications for this position are:Associate Degree in Science,Engineering, or related field.Minimum of three years
