This is an excellent opportunity for an entry-level candidate who is looking to gain experience in the medical industry. We are looking for a detail-oriented, compassionate, and dedicated individual who is passionate about providing excellent patient care.Responsibilities:
  • Rooming patients and taking vitals
  • Updating and maintaining patient medical records
  • Assisting with medical procedures
  • Preparing exam rooms and equipment
  • Scheduling patient appointments and following up with patients
  • Answering patient calls and providing excellent customer service
  • Obtaining medical authorizations and verifying insurance information
  • Assisting with medical billing and coding
  • Ensuring compliance with HIPAA regulations and maintaining patient confidentiality
  • Performing other duties as assigned by the medical staffQualifications:
    • Completion of a medical assistant Diploma/Program with Externship
    • Knowledge of medical terminology and charting
    • Experience with electronic medical records (EMR/EHR)
    • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
    • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and multitask
    • Excellent organizational and time management skills
    • Ability to maintain a professional demeanor and positive attitude
