We are hiring for RN, Registered Nurse in our Healthcare Unit

Location: Lutheran Community at Telford- 12 Lutheran Home Dr, Telford, PA 18969

Schedule: 11:00pm - 7:00am Includes Every Other Weekend and Holiday

Part-Time: 3-6 Shifts Per Pay

Pay: $40.00 Per Hour New Rates

Since 1962, the Lutheran Community at Telford (www.lctelford.org) has provided exceptional services for seniors located in Bucks and Montgomery Counties. Telford offers a full continuum of care, from independent residential cottages and convenient apartment homes to comfortable personal care accommodations. Shepherd Way memory support neighborhood and a recently constructed Healthcare Pavilion give individuals access to the health care and support they need at all hours. POSITION SUMMARY:

To ensure that the physical and psychosocial needs of the residents are met in a timely and dignified manner.

SPECIFIC DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Report at start of shift with worksheet to receive shift report.

Assume leadership by coordinating the care of residents with appropriate personnel.

Count narcotics with off-going nurse.

Administer scheduled medications in accordance with facility, state and federal regulations. Perform scheduled treatments, wound assessments and documentation as per facility policy.

Document pertinent information on residents including but not limited to: 7 day assessments for MDS documentation, alert charting, monthly summaries, incidents/accidents and vital signs.

Participate in admission assessments, transfers, deaths, physician orders and prepare for physician rounds.

Regular attendance is an essential function.

Communicate resident or staff issues to appropriate personnel.

Attend meetings and in-services as required.
