for the Lewis Katz School of Medicine at Temple University/St.

Key Duties & Responsibilities (not an inclusive list):
Serves as a liaison between St. Luke's senior management and the
Dean's staff at the Lewis Katz School of Medicine at Temple
Responsible for the academic oversight for the Temple/St. Luke's
School of Medicine, including, but not limited, to the
Managing and maintaining fiscally responsible
Chair Pre-clerkship and Clerkship Committees.
Recruit, appoint, and evaluate faculty and administrative
Oversee, develop, and implement the medical school curriculum.
Mentor students and faculty and write letters supporting students
Recommend student disciplinary actions as warranted.
Oversee and maintain LCME accreditation in close collaboration with
the Lewis Katz School of Medicine at Temple University.
Establish and implement policies and procedures to ensure
compliance with St. Luke's institutional standards and with the
Lewis Katz School of Medicine academic standards.
Appoint and oversee Assistant Dean for Student Affairs and
coordinate student activities within the Temple/St. Luke's School
Nurture relationships between pre-clerkship directors, clerkship
directors, program directors, deans, faculty, and students within
the Temple/St. Luke's School of Medicine.
Board Certified, in a specialty recognized by the ABMS
Demonstrated at least seven years of medical education leadership
Advanced degree in medical education is desirable.
