Description: Our client, a large stable public company is seeking an Accounting Manager to join its accounting team. The company is stable offers excellent benefits, excellent benefits and an opportunity for advancement.

The responsibilities include:

Prepare all financial statements on a monthly and quarterly basis.
Assist in the preparation of 10K's and 10q's, along with other supporting schedules
Assist in financial close, journal entries and related work schedules on both a monthly and quarterly basis.
Research and prepare memos for accounting treatment of new accounting pronouncements and accounting memos.
Assist in the preparation of tax schedules
Manage relationship with outside auditors regarding SOX and quarterly and annual external audits.
manage bank submissions and debt covenants
Provide ad hoc reports for senior management and board of directors.

Requirements:

Accounting Degree
4+ years accounting experience
Public accounting experience and CPA a plus
