The Program Manager is responsible for managing the Data Markeplace
alternative data solutions across the D&B organization. This
role will help drive innovation and solutions through partner data
that supplements the core rich D&B assets to provide a one-stop
shop for our customers. As a Project Manager, you will use your
business and analytics background to drive the development and
expansion plan for D&B Analytics Studio and the Alternative
Data Marketplace. You will understand the concepts of analytics,
developmental Sandboxes for data and analytic exploratory use and
apply them to the current business challenges that our customers
face to build market leading solutions. You will also have the
opportunity to foster meaningful relationships both internally and
with our customers.
Responsibilities 1. Own the project management and execution of the
product development for D&B Analytics Studio and the
Alternative Data Marketplace initiative:
* Manage and track the development process to ensure high quality,
high predictability in schedule & budget.
* Manage the detailed product road map, user stories, and risk &
issues of the product build.
* Identify and eliminate bottlenecks, provide escalation
management, anticipate and make tradeoffs, and balance business
needs versus constraints.
* Coordinate the identification and prioritization of features and
capabilities through input with customers, analysts, developers,
architects and your knowledge of the domain.
* Participate (as the Project Manager) in scrum teams by supporting
and prioritizing user stories, managing the backlog, coordinating
all aspects of the build, keeping the team focused, and
communicating to stakeholders regularly on status.
2. Manage and coordinate the go-to-market efforts to drive revenue
for the D&B Analytics Studio, Alternative Data and other
innovations, including collaboration with Pricing, Marketing,
Finance and the Sales teams.
* Manage sales training and support efforts in conjunction with
sales enablement teams.
* Assist leadership with feasibility reviews of new data &
analytics innovations moving beyond design & incubate into other
phases of launch that will drive product enhancements.
* Liaison with marketing, product, sales and sales enablement to
provide data & analytics best practices to drive new data and
analytic sales opportunities this includes:
* Partnering with marketing and sales operations to plan campaigns
around driving Analytic Studio & alternative data sales
* Partnering with marketing & product SME's in developing use
cases, customer presentations, fact sheets, proposals, statements
of work, and other collateral in support of the product sales.
3. Collaborate with cross functional stakeholders and ensure
transparency, clarity and alignment on progress and key decisions.
Stakeholders include technology, lines of business, analytics,
sales, sales operations, marketing, delivery, pricing and
finance.

engineering, and your fellow data scientists to create experiences
that enable customers to make better business decisions with data.
You are an energetic self-starter with the ability to work in a
fast-paced environment under tight timelines. You are organized
with attention to detail and the ability to manage projects, learn
new areas quickly and take ownership of issues.
* Work cross functionally across the project using various
methodology(s) to complete work assigned and meet deliverable
timelines. The project team is required to participate in planning
sessions and weekly meetings to ensure appropriate allocations and
expectations. Each member of the team is held accountable to
complete all work assigned within the given timeline. It is very
important that these deadlines are met and the project continues to
show value to the leadership team. It is the developers
responsibility to clearly communicate capacity and help estimate
time to complete tasks assigned.
Experience
* Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Finance or
related quantitatively focused field required.
* 5+ years of experience in project management with experience
managing new business intelligence (like Tableau or Power BI
reporting marts) or analytics products (like R, Python).
* Project Management Certification (PMP) preferred.
* Experience translating customer needs into business requirements,
analyzing issues and identifying areas of opportunity to drive and
maximize revenue.
* Experience developing recommendations and driving execution as
well as managing problems as they occur and owning the work plan
and execution with minimal supervision.
* Ability to effectively communicate with executive staff, business
sponsors, managers, and technical resources in language that is
appropriate to the target audience.
* Highly organized with excellent attention to detail and the
ability to manage projects, learn new areas quickly, take ownership
of issues, develop recommendations and drive execution.
* Ability to travel approximately 10%
