Description:The Supply Chain Manager is responsible for the financial performance of the department and the achievement of desired metrics, including profitable sales growth, disciplined expense control and is accountable for the evaluation and reshaping of departmental processes to improve efficiency. Other responsibilities include, but are not limited to, managing requests for over 100 customers located throughout North and South America, assisting with internal spare parts requests, developing departmental strategies, and working with After Sales Account Managers to create inclusive proposals. The Supply Chain Manager is also responsible for the procurement of After Sales equipment and companywide asset management. The position manages the Purchasing Specialist and the Warehouse Associate and reports to the Managing Director.Responsibilities: Monitors demand and analyzes data to anticipate future supply and logistical needs Evaluate suppliers to achieve cost-effective deals and maintain trust relationships Work with factory in Italy on spare parts requests Evaluates deliveries, shipments and product levels to improve inventory control procedures Collaborate with After Sales Account Managers to create spare parts strategies Review customer and industry sales trends Ensure inventory level is adequate for distribution and can cover direct demand from customers Review new units to create parts lists and determine new inventory items Track and analyze departmental Key Performance Indicators Request and negotiate pricing for After Sales related purchases Ensure proper equipment is available and supplied for various activities Tag, maintain log, and monitor company assets Train team members on new processes and procedures Support the achievement of sales targets and results within the targeted time frame Support the directives and decisions of higher management Supply management with reports on projects, needs, problems, interests, competitive activities and potential new businessAdditional Skills & Qualifications: High level of flexibility and adaptability to constantly changing situations Bachelors or associates degree in business, logistics, supply chain management or similar Experience working with SAP required Courteous, supportive and respectful in all interactions Ability to multitask and prioritize Strong sense of ambition & self-motivation Excellent written and verbal communication skills; professional and poised presentation Strong time management and organizational skills Working knowledge of Microsoft Office programsAbout Aston Carter: At Aston Carter, were dedicated to expanding career opportunities for the skilled professionals who power our business.
