Job Description:
Safavieh is a luxury home furnishing and rug company seeking a
positive, energetic, and organized Assistant Facility Maintenance
Manager to join our team in our Clinton, New Jersey location.
Manage 750,000 s.f facility.Responsibilities:* Develop relationship
with Safavieh Management and Warehouse Manager coordinate shipping
operations with plant facility allowing without disruption shipping
operations while maintaining infrastructure of interior and
exterior of warehouse.* Position requires 80% outside office work
and 20% office work. * Report at times Ownership and Management
status of work progress at facility. * Supervise relationships with
Tenant to insure they are complaint with lease requirements and
building and Fire Marshal codes. * Previously maintained fire
alarm, fire sprinklers, HVAC systems, conveyors, roll up doors,
roofing systems, solar panels, electrical systems, snow removal and
lawn maintenance.* Must have an excellent understanding of building
systems to provide preventive maintenance to avoid damage to
building infrastructure. * At times required to perform physical
labor to support efforts in repairs * Lead weekly logistics status
meetings for the purpose's operations and safety. * Coordinate all
required municipal required inspections month and annually as
required by Department of Buildings and Fire Marshal with vendors
servicing equipment and systems. * Coordinate required inspections
with Department of Buildings and Fire Marshal.* Routinely inspect
facility to avoid safety violations. * Solicit competitive
proposals for trade work to present to management as required when
projects develop. Report to accounting department proposed budgets
for routine work. * Supervise service contracts with vendors. *
Provide daily written reports to Management on company software.
Qualifications:* Associates or Bachelor's degree preferred*
Experience in the property management 10 years or more * Possess
good organizational skills* Excellent written and verbal
communication skills proficient in Outlook, Word and Excel.*
Ability to multitask and work under deadlines* At times requires
physical labor. * Must be professional and have good presentation
skills * Bi-lingual - Spanish + EnglishCompensation:* Dependent
