Job Description Job Description Building Automation Controls Technician - HVAC Controls HVAC Controls - BAS – HVAC- Building Automation Systems- DDC Controls Our New Jersey-based full service mechanical contracting/BAS/HVAC Controls client is actively seeking to add an experienced BAS/HVAC Controls Service Technician with the ability to service, trouble shoot and repair, building automation systems. Compensation is competitive & commensurate with experience. Qualifications Two or more (2) years of BAS/DDC control systems experience installing, troubleshooting and repair of HVAC/ automated control systems which control HVAC equipment such as roof top units, air handlers, VAV boxes, heat pumps, chillers, pumps, cooling towers, boilers, and heat exchangers. Valid driver license Hands-on exposure to Distech Controls systems desired Strong knowledge of HVAC, automated control systems, energy management systems Strong knowledge and practical experience with troubleshooting, repairing and calibrating BAS/DDC systems Strong knowledge and experience with the controls concepts for the mechanical HVAC equipment in commercial buildings Practical experience interfacing & integrating DDC systems with electrical & mechanical equipment systems in commercial buildings.
