A Snapshot of Your Day
As a Project Engineer, you will be the technicallead on aftermarket
centrifugal compression projects. You'll work ina fast-paced
environment with multi-disciplinary teams tackling
challengingprojects related to the transformation of the oil and
gas industry.
The successful candidate will have an interestand competency in
project execution and will assume a leadership role within
acollaborative engineering team including, but not limited to, a
projectmanager, product design engineer, package/systems engineer,
drafting, coretechnology specialist, and service center/factory
assembly team, customer andsuppliers as required.
How You'll Make an Impact
- Managing thescope of complex projects, specifically ensuring the
execution team delivers onthe technical obligations of our
contracts throughout the concept & basicengineering, detailed
design, production, and field commissioning phases.
- Leadingspecification review and commenting during the
pre-contract phase and thenensuring specification adherence
throughout the actual order execution.
- Leadingtechnical communications with Clients, including, but not
limited to, scopeclarifications, formal document transmittals,
product design reviews, etc.
- Moderating thecollaboration of multiple engineering disciplines
within and outside thematrixed organization to meet project
deliverables and milestones.
- Creating and maintaining the technical cadence ofassigned
execution project team, including red flagging and
expeditingresolution of unresolved technical issues for the
team.
- Deciding onand ultimately overseeing when agile processes are
merited to flex between"baseline processes" and "special
circumstance processes" to best supportproject cycle time.
What You Bring
- Bachelor'sdegree in engineering required (Mechanical, Chemical,
Aeronautical/Aerodynamic,or equivalent degrees from an ABET
accredited college/university will beconsidered).
- An interestand competency in project execution, ability to be a
team player, and anaptitude for providing leadership within a
collaborative engineering team.
- 3+ years of prior projectengineering experience required. Those
with more experience may be considered for a more senior level.
- Possess anddemonstrates a high degree of tact and
professionalism; capable of interactingwith Management, Peers, Shop
Personnel, and Clients.
- Experiencewith rotating machinery required, preferably
centrifugal compressors.Experience with package engineering or
design preferred.
- Broadtechnical background, high attention to detail, and
excellent written and oralcommunication skills.
- Goodorganizational and time management skills.
- A nimble,flexible, adaptable, creative, and resilient
mindset.
- Ability towork collaboratively and individually with the same
enthusiasm and intensity.
- Good computerliteracy and experience with Microsoft Office Suite
(Word, Excel, Outlook,Power-Point) and basic 2D/3D CAD.
- Willing andable to travel domestically and internationally, with
shortnotice. Travel is variable and as needed but estimated in the
rangeof 10-20% per year.
- Applicantsmust be legally authorized for employment in the United
States without need forcurrent or future employer-sponsored work

comprehensive digital portfolio solutions inthe oil and gas sector
and other process industries comprising rotatingequipment,
electrification, and solutions for subsea business.
The US Turbo Compression ProductLine supports aftermarket
modifications and upgrade projects for a largeinstall base of
Ingersoll-Rand, Clark, Dresser-Rand, DeLaval, Cooper,Rolls-Royce,
and other affiliate brand names, as well as oOEM of
turbomachineryproducts. The Project Engineering Team is the
technical ownerof our contracts. From pre-order to the end of the
warranty, theproject engineering team ensures we deliver on the
scope and technicalobligations of our projects. The PE team leads
internal and externaltechnical communications on specifications,
scope clarifications,planning/design/production/shipment reviews to
maintain the cadence of theassigned execution technical team. The
work is fast-paced with acollaborative team tackling challenging
projects, and open to adopting agileprocesses.
