registered nurse (RN) license and minimum 1 years RN experience
required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not
be considered. A School Nurse position is available for a contract
assignment in Bethlehem, PA, supporting student health and wellness
during the summer session. This role offers the opportunity to
provide essential preventative health services, assist with student
illness or injury, and promote a safe school environment from July
6 through July 30. Location: Bethlehem, PA Schedule: 9:00 AM 2:00
PM, Monday through Thursday Duration: July 6 July 30 Position Type:
Contract, Onsite Positions Available: 1 Key Responsibilities: -
Assess and evaluate student illnesses or injuries and administer
first aid as needed - Deliver preventive health services to support
physical, mental, emotional, and social development of students -
Educate students, parents/guardians, and school staff on relevant
health issues - Communicate regularly with students and families
regarding health concerns - Maintain accurate health records and
support the implementation of the school health program - Foster a
safe and healthy environment for all students Qualifications: -
Licensed Professional Nurse (LPN or RN) in Pennsylvania -
Certification as an Educational Specialist by the Pennsylvania
Department of Education - Bachelors Degree in Nursing (BSN)
preferred - Current Red Cross CPR and First Aid Instructor
certifications - 35 years of nursing experience preferred, ideally
in pediatrics, school nursing, or a related area Physical
Requirements: - Ability to stand, bend, stoop, sit, and reach as
needed - Effective communication skills including vision, hearing,
and speech - Ability to lift or carry 1025 pounds safely - Ability
to move independently throughout school buildings and event
