Job Description:
Job Description Job Description Nursing degree, active
registered nurse (RN) license and minimum 1 years RN experience
required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not
be considered. A school nursing opportunity is available on a
contract basis in Easton, PA, to support student health and
wellness during an upcoming summer session. The positions schedule
is Monday through Thursday, 9:00 AM to 2:00 PM, spanning from early
to late July. This role offers in-person work within a school
setting, providing a hands-on approach to student healthcare. Key
Responsibilities: - Assess and manage student illnesses and
injuries, providing first aid as necessary - Deliver preventive
health services promoting students physical, mental, emotional, and
social well-being - Educate students, parents/guardians, and staff
on health-related topics when assigned - Maintain open
communication with students and families concerning health issues -
Implement the school health program and maintain accurate health
records - Foster a safe and healthy environment for all students
Qualifications: - Licensed Professional Nurse (LPN or RN)
credentialed in Pennsylvania - Certification as an Educational
Specialist by the Pennsylvania Department of Education - Bachelor
of Science in Nursing (BSN) is preferred - Current Red Cross CPR
and First Aid Instructor certifications - Preferred 35 years
nursing experience, especially in pediatrics or school nursing
Physical Requirements: - Ability to stand, bend, stoop, sit, and
reach regularly - Effective communication skills, including vision,
hearing, and speech capabilities - Ability to safely lift or carry
1025 pounds - Mobility to move independently throughout school
