Job Description Job Description Degree in Physical Therapy, active Physical Therapist license and 1 year of Physical Therapy experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered. A contract physical therapy opportunity is available at a regional day school in Jackson, NJ, serving the Manchester Township school district during the Extended School Year (ESY) program from July 1st to August 12th, excluding July 6th. This role focuses on providing specialized PT services to students from pre-kindergarten through 12th grade who attend during ESY. Working onsite Monday through Thursday, the schedule is set from 9:30 AM to 12:45 PM, offering focused therapy sessions within a school setting. The caseload consists exclusively of students who are in attendance for the summer program, allowing targeted intervention. Key qualifications and experience desired: Licensed Physical Therapist with relevant school-based PT experience Ability to develop and implement individualized treatment plans for students ages PK-12 Strong communication skills to collaborate with educational staff, families, and multidisciplinary teams Familiarity with school therapy documentation and compliance requirements Availability for onsite work during specified summer dates and hours Responsibilities include: Delivering physical therapy evaluations and interventions in the school environment Monitoring student progress and adapting therapy plans accordingly Maintaining accurate records and collaborating with educators and specialists Ensuring compliance with school and district regulations and deadlines This contract role provides an excellent opportunity to make a positive impact on students development over the summer in a supportive educational setting located in Brick, NJ.
